Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson might be a huge giant, but he is exceedingly gentle. Known for many charitable acts, he crossed one off his list when he collaborated with VOSS Water to donate 700,000 bottles to healthcare workers. Well, if that isn’t called being ‘nice’, we don’t know what is.

The Rock went on his Instagram and delivered a heartfelt message to the healthcare professionals about how valued they are in the community. He mentioned how this was simply his way of expressing gratitude to the people who were fighting this battle at the risk of their lives.

He also mentioned that healthcare workers have inspired him and his family to maintain social distancing. Seeing their fight against the virus, it is only fair that all the citizens around the globe decide to follow through and not endanger themselves further. This is exactly the time to be disciplined and diligent.

VOSS had decided to partake in the donation for Covid-19, by pledging close to 480,000 bottles in New York City. Now it has extended to most big hospitals in the Tri-state area and California. VOSS has also tried expanding their charity in Brazil, Mexico, and France.

CEO of VOSS, Glenn Hartman, mentioned in one of the many interviews that the need for water was even more now. Amongst all the demands that were coming out, frontline workers required drinking water the most. And if people could put their life on the barrel of a gun for the survival of others, couldn’t this multi-billion dollar company sample a few bottles?

The Rock also donated around 5000 bottles during the tornado in Georgia. The reasoning is simple- when you have the means to help people who are not being able to survive, you do it.

And his kindness was addressed by Lt. Colonel William Mockabee of the Salvation Army Georgia. He believes that The Rock’s kindness would really help those in need.
